The important moments of the day are morning prayers and compline – it is possible
to reserve an area in the hotel where the group can gather and pray together.
Holy Mass can be booked every day or just on Sundays and public holidays.

Day 1
Arrival in the Marche region. Lunch: free time.
In the afternoon, tour of Loreto, famous for its
stunning Basilica which, according to tradition,
contains the house of the Virgin Mary. Hotel
check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
After breakfast, departure for the Sanctuary
of Macereto, located in the National Park of the
Sibillini Mountains. Tour of the Sanctuary followed
by departure for Tolentino, where we will visit
the basilica dedicated to Saint Nicholas. Lunch:
free time. After lunch, departure for the abbey
of Chiaravalle di Fiastra, which is also set within
a natural reserve where we can see what the
life of the monastic community used to be like
and, depending on the weather, enjoy a guided
excursion throughout the natural reserve. In
the late afternoon, return to Loreto, dinner and
overnight stay.

Day 3
After breakfast, departure for Cupramontana,
where we will visit the picturesque Eremo di San
Giuseppe delle Grotte or "dei Frati Bianchi" (of the
White Friars), a religious building complex built
Places: Loreto, Corinaldo, Serra de´ Conti, Abbadia di Fiastra, Fonte Avellana, Eremo
di Monte Giove, Tolentino, Eremo dei Frati Bianchi, Santuario di Macereto, Santa
Maria di Portonovo, San Vittore di Genga
out of light-coloured bricks surrounded by nature.
We will later visit another retreat, La Romita,
commissioned by Saint James of the Marches.
The remains of Blessed John Righi of Fabriano
rest here. This is a place of peace where pilgrims
can enjoy the silence and draw new energy. In the
late afternoon, arrival in Senigallia, hotel check-in,
dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
After breakfast, departure for Corinaldo, hometown
of Saint Maria Goretti. We will follow the "Goretti
route", the main stages in the blessed life of
Marietta, walking along the streets of one of the
most beautiful villages in Italy. Lunch: free time. In
the afternoon, return to Senigallia and tour of the
seaside town. The Christian tradition of this town has
its origin in the lives of fishermen and merchants,
and its heart is, undoubtedly, the figure of Blessed
Pius IX, who was born here. We will visit the house
where he was born, the Church of the Cross, the
cathedral and other places linked to the Christian
tradition of the town. In the late afternoon, return
to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
After breakfast, tour of Serra de´ Conti, a small
village with its fascinating museum dedicated
to monastic arts. Pilgrims will be accompanied
on their tour by the voices of the nuns at work.
Later, transfer to Arcevia, a medieval village that
has many works by the Della Robbia school and
Luca Signorelli. Lunch: free time. In the afternoon,
transfer to the monastery of Fonte Avellana, a
picturesque monastic building complex situated
in the heart of the Apennines. We will visit the
monastery rooms and, if the weather is good,
enjoy a walk amongst the wonders of creation.
In the late afternoon, arrival in Senigallia, hotel
check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6
After breakfast, departure for the land of the
Montefeltro, on the trail of Saint Francis. Indeed,
the Marche region has many itineraries linked
to the Saint from Assisi. Arrival in San Leo,
medieval fortress where, according to tradition,
Saint Francis and Brother Leo passed through.
Afterwards, departure for Mercatello, in the
Metauro Valley, where we can visit the church of
Saint Francis, which contains a magnificent crucifix
and a polyptych by the Giotto school, as well as
a memento of the mystic saint Veronica Giuliani.
Lunch: free time. In the afternoon, departure for
Urbino, the city of the Montefeltro Ducal Palace. It
hosts Franciscan places such as a Gothic church
and a mausoleum linked to San Bernardino, as
well as a Clarisse convent. In the late afternoon,
return to Senigallia, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7
After breakfast, departure for Fabriano, "sister
town" to Assisi in the Middle Ages; Francis visited
it often as two of his fellow soldiers lived here.
Afterwards, transfer to the retreat of Santa Maria
in Val di Sasso, in the Valleremita locality, where
Saint Francis, Brother Egidio and Brother Simon
of Assisi – and others after them – lived. Transfer
to Genga. Lunch: free time. Tour of the village,
paying special attention to two stunning religious
buildings: San Vittore alle Chiuse and the Temple
of Valadier. Visit to the Frasassi Caves available
on request. At the end of the day, departure for
starting points.
