Built in 1600 as a fortified farmhouse, Masseria Chiancone Torricella is immersed in an oasis of natural beauty, typically Mediterranean, spangled with white rural buildings, typical of the country tradition, the Trulli, and of the feudal tradition, the Masserie.
Situated on the highest point of the South- Eastern Murgia, Masseria Chiancone preserves the antique fascination of the original structure.
The central building is represented by the masseria, which was once the main house and farmer´s house, with adjacent rooms used to breed the animals, and as storage for forage. It was a fortified dwelling with the defence towers and loopholes disposed among the first and second floor: today you can find there the Club House, the reception, the hall, the reading and TV room, and the fireplace room.
The seven Trulli were used for the production and preservation of the cheese, while a spacious room is reserved for the sheepfold.
Today, this complex of Trulli form the characteristic à la carte restaurant.

Masseria Chiancone Torricella has 49 elegant and comfortable rooms made respecting the architecture of the antique building.
The rooms all have a telephone, TV with satellite and terrestrial antenna, minibar, air conditioning and heating, safe, and bathroom with shower and hairdryer. In some rooms it is possible to have a WI-FI internet connection, or to have rooms with a small balcony.
All rooms are accessible to disabled people.

S.S.16 exit: Fasano - Taranto, direction Martina Franca
From Martina Franca
- S.S. 172 to Taranto at 5kms, detour to the right; or
- S.P. 581 to Massafra, at 6,5kms detour to the left for Contrada Trasconi-Chiancone

In Trulli in a warm and welcoming, you can taste the flavors and local and regional specialties, the restaurant offers refined international taste.
In the large reception rooms can be rather elegant organize events and meetings.
With the start of the spring season and throughout the summer (here in Martina Franca, the autumn is mild, so as to have called the beginning of October with "Indian summer", recognizing the merit of the Patron Saint precede the winter with a period of unexpected warmth), you will enjoy the wide open spaces in a wrapped bouquet of oak, laurel bushes and olive trees typical of the Mediterranean.
Small meeting rooms, where necessary we can arrange meetings and lunches, supplement rooms dedicated to our guests
