You can experience a very relaxing and delightful ride, skirting the banks of the cleanest and most charming rivers in Italy, riding among vineyards and ancient oaks.
Valle del Tirino, where the Capestrano Warrior was discovered and it is now a worldwide symbol of Abruzzo, allows cyclists to ride on more than 60 km of cycling pathways.

A full day activity, for adults and kids, during which an expert qualified guide will offer the chance to discover historical and natural treasures preserved in the woods of Valle del Tirino, impressive churches, charming vineyards, wine tastings and authentic traditional local food.

This is a truly unique experience for people who love sport, nature and food, in order to live in depth Valle del Tirino, tasting flavors and typical local scents by observing a fading sunset while riding along one of the many pathways near the River.
A bicycle riding at sunset is scheduled all Fridays in August, leaving at 6.30pm from Fiume Tirino Visitor Centre. Starting from July it is possible to request the bike ride for groups of minimum 10 people.
