Palazzo Rollo is a unique historic home that every visitor will remember for its charm.
The building dates back to the second half of 1500, but it was enlarged and enriched in 1700, when the main entrance, the Rollo family´s coat of arms, balconies and outdoor decorations were added.
Guests are welcomed by the courtyard surrounded by lush American vines, while the roof terrace, adorned with flowers and Mediterranean plants, provides a breathtaking view over the city and in particular the bell tower of the cathedral.
Palazzo Rollo has 6 rooms and 3 apartments.
The rooms are on the first floor of the building, preserving the original floors and ceilings, and they all have private bathroom with shower or bath.
Each room is furnished with antiques and fine fabrics as well as modern conveniences, such as LCD TV and air conditioning.
The Suite Scirocco is very prestigious and it features a decorated blue arched ceiling, painted by Geremia Re, a local artist in the early 1900. The suite also has a jacuzzi.
The apartments, overlooking the courtyard, are on the ground floor and they were once granary and stables for horses. Each apartment has a private bathroom, LCD TV, air conditioning and fully equipped kitchenette with table and chairs; they can accommodate from 2 to 4 people.
The three apartments are called Ambra (Amber), Giada (Jade) and Rubino (Ruby); the first is in the 16th century part of the building with exposed stone walls.
