Day 1 - Wednesday: Bari

Arrival at Bari Airport. Private transfer to the hotel and meeting with the other participants. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - Thursday: Bari - Ostuni - Lecce

Breakfast at hotel and time at leisure in the morning to visit the old town of Bari. We will leave Bari for Ostuni and on the way we will stop at a Masseria (rural house) to enjoy the typical Pugliese food. Continue to Ostuni, a jewel of architecture best known as "the white city" for its white walls and typical architecture all in white. In the afternoon, continue to Lecce. Accommodation

Day 3 - Friday: Lecce - Gallipoli - Lecce

Breakfast at hotel. Visit to the city known as “Florence of the South” and also for its famous baroque art and architecture revealed between the end of the 16th century and the first half of the 17th century. You can admire the rich and beautiful decoration of St Oronzo church, the Basilica of the Holy Cross and the Celestini Palace. In the corner of St. Oronzo we can admire the Roman amphitheater from the 2nd century BC and the St Oronzo column, 29 meters high and a statue of the saint on top. Lunch at a local restaurant where we can taste some of the typical products of the area. In the afternoon departure to Gallipoli, a wonderful city surrounded by walls over the sea. Back to Lecce.  Accommodation.

Day 4 - Saturday: Lecce - Alberobello - Polignano a Mare - Bari

Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Alberobello, the city of the Trulli, a Unesco heritage with its typical houses with cone roofs used as houses or to store work utensils. Visit to Alberobello and then lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon continue to Polignano a Mare, an old fishing village where sailors still breathe. Its white houses contrast with the blue of the Adriatic Sea and its numerous cliffs and balconies make this coast a landscape worth admiring. Continue to Bari. Accommodation.

Day 5 - Sunday: Bari – Castel del Monte - Trani - Molfetta - Bari

Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Castel del Monte for a visit to the fortress, undoubtedly one of the most popular buildings from the times of Emperor Frederick II. Built around 1240 Castel del Monte becomes the permanent seat of the court of Federico Hohenstaufen, sovereign at the age of the Kingdom of Sicily. The monarch was called "Stupor Mundi" for his vast and complete culture and left in his castle the imprint of the mystery that enveloped his figure.
Continue to Trani to visit the Cathedral on the sea. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will enjoy a stop at the unknown, but charming Molfetta before returning to Bari. Accommodation.

Day 6 - Monday: Bari - Matera - Naples

Breakfast at hotel. Departure to Matera internationally known for its "Sassi". The sassi are original settlements of prehistory (troglodytes) and apparently the first settlements in Italy. They are houses carved into the roc, characteristic of the Basilicata and Apulia regions. Many of these “houses” are really just caves and the streets in some parts go through the roofs of other houses. One of the peculiarities of this ancient city is its similarity to the ancient cities near Jerusalem. It has been captured by the eyes of directors and film studios. Matera is also a Unesco heritage.
