Masseria del Fico is located at only 3 km away from the sandy beaches of Torre S. Giovanni and 4 km from the historical centre of Ugento. Masseria del Fico is very well located in the middle of Santa Maria di Leuca and Gallipoli. It is at only 5 minutes to the sea and to charming centre towns facing on the sea, with restaurants and assorted bars and shops.
Masseria del Fico is in an excellent position for exploring all Salento. It´s just 30 minutes drive from the city island of Gallipoli on the Ionian coast, and 50 min from Lecce, famous to be "the capital of Baroque style. Another town close is Maglie, just 20 min drive away, that is a jewel of Baroque, famous locally for its alive center town and all the fashionable activity that goes with that.
A small country road, running through beautiful old olive groves and dry stones walls lead you to this stunning XV century farmhouse recently renovated and enclosed in a high tufo stone walls. The property has two entrance gates. The Masseria keeps the original shapes but all the amenities and many furnishings are new and created by local craftsmen.

The Masseria is composed by a main house with a further suite in the tower, a dependence with access through the garden.
Outdoor spaces: countryside in property, garden, sunset terrace with sea view, furnished area in courtyard.
The main house is built around a L shaped courtyard with a fountain in the middle. The house is based on one floor and consists of:
- a huge living room with high vaulted ceilings;
- a comfortable dining area with a table that sits 14 persons;
- a large and equipped kitchen;
- a full guest bathroom;
- the master bedroom with en suite bathroom.
Two more rooms have access from the main courtyard:
- a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom;
- the Arch room: a large room that can sleeps comfortably up to 4 persons in a double bed and a sofa bed (140 cm mattress) on the other side with its own en suite bathroom.
Dependence
On a side of the garden it is located an annex. It is a twin room with its own en suite bathroom (the beds can be adjoined). The dependence, which is separated from the rest of the house is also accessible from the main courtyard or even through the Arch room.
Tower
The last bedrooms is a suite, located in the upper part of the property, the tower. There are 2 ways to reach the upper terrace: through an old staircase starting from the main courtyard as well as a second flights of steps on the back of the house, near the dependence.
This suite consists of one large living/bedroom with a double comfortable sofa bed and own en suite bathroom. A large equipped takes the entire surface of the roof. There you can enjoy the beautiful view over the countryside as well as, the sea .
The Masseria is fully air-conditioned and all bedrooms are featured by spacious and have vaulted ceilings, en suite bathrooms with shower, French doors opening on to the outdoor areas.
