"See Naples and die" has been the motto of this wonderful city for many years. Doubtless, a city with a major split personality, Naples is at once stunningly beautiful but down at heel; historically significant but with some crumbling landmarks and it has the chic of any modern European capital but can sometimes resemble an intoxicating town that is still in the throes of development with haphazard infrastructure.

Whichever side the city presents to you, you will be enthralled and captivated. The lovely "centro storico" has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site with churches and historic monuments numbering a huge 448, the highest number for any single city in the world. Overlooking the mesmerising Bay of Naples with a view of Mt Vesuvius, this is a symbolic image of Italy whose raw and natural beauty is unparalleled. Located in the Campania region of Italy, the coastline is stupendous with the Isle of Capri and the gorgeous Ischia Islands accessible offshore.

Further south, sleek Sorrento and uber posh Positano are well worth a visit. A must see experience is a tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum to see the fascinating remains of actual ancient towns forever petrified for posterity by the wrath of Vesuvius. As with many locations in Italy, you are never too far from delicious food in Naples and the city even invented the original pizza, the Margherita. I´m also wondering if this is the home of Neapolitan ice cream and chocolate neapolitans? Whatever, you will eat well in Naples and enjoy fresh seafood that utterly befits a coastal port town.

Naples is a busy, heavily populated city, so traffic can often be manic. Walk around and explore on foot and you will be rewarded with historical treasures on almost every corner, coffee and people watching opportunities from Piazza Garibaldi onwards and smart shopping till your wallet is empty!

This guided tour will combine some of Naples breathtaking sites with a dizzying array of authentic food – this tour promises that you will be full by the end of the day! Bright and early, we begin our tour by stopping for a savoury breakfast: 3 pastries and a cappuccino or espresso. This should provide you with enough energy for a very busy day. We will walk along the main routes of the city as our guide educates us on how a food product was originally made, its history and how it evolved through the years. A light lunch will be served which will consist of 3 pasta courses and a well-deserved glass of red wine. You will be invited to sample a typical "cuoppo", a Neapolitan-style fried street food, accompanied by a glass of white wine. We will also explore a Limoncello factory and try one of Southern Italy´s trademark treats. If you´re still fighting hunger, don’t wander too far. A fresh and scrumptious seafood salad will be served along with the famous Falanghina white wine. Together with sun-dried tomatoes and Naples´very own Mozzarella di Bufala, you will feast on the ultimate Neapolitan dinner. We end the morning tour on a sweet note with a drizzle of limoncello, meloncello and a rich and creamy homemade ice cream. Do not miss out on this gastronomic tour where you will discover taste buds you didn´t know you had, thanks to the cooking genius inherent to Naples! Buon appetito!

A tour not to be missed, immerse yourself in a true earthly paradise suspended between land and sea to discover 3 authentic pearls of the Mediterranean and the Amalfi coast – Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi – in a single day. The first stop will be Sorrento, a picturesque town perched over the sea, distinguished by small alleys and craft workshops, and the ubiquitous lemon trees that fill the air of the town with their delicious perfume. After enjoying a delicious lunch made with local produce, you will head for Positano and Amalfi on an unforgettable scenic trip along the entire Amalfi coast, offering stunning panoramic views with the blue sea on one side and the Lattari Mountains on the other. The panorama before your eyes will remain engraved on your memory forever, overhanging cliffs over the sea, natural coves and quaint towns set like jewels in the coast. We will make a photo stop in Positano and then head shortly afterwards towards Amalfi, where you will have free time to admire the majestic, exquisite Cathedral and to taste the babà, the well-known Neapolitan pastries in the most famous patisserie in the town. You will return to Naples in the evening after a day mixing art, culture and breathtaking views.
